Monitoring streams 24/7

Worldstream’s satellite dish services allow for powerful, low latency satellite and terrestrial transmission solutions. We’re trusted by an ever-growing international base of broadcasters, TV networks, sports leagues, and enterprises. They rely on us for applications such as media content distribution, backup, archiving solutions, and disaster recovery.

Delivered from our flagship data center in the Netherlands, Greenhouse NLDW2, with expert engineers on-site day and night, we’re able to ensure the highest stream performance for satellite as well as our terrestrial transmission offerings. And you can rest assured that these streams are uniquely monitored 24/7.

Point-to-point transmission

In close partnership with DAEL Group, Worldstream offers terrestrial transmission solutions to SMBs and enterprises in the Westland region of the Netherlands and beyond. A 60-meter high satellite dish mast at the Worldstream flagship data center allows you to deploy solid point-to-point and point-to-multipoint 10 Gigabit microwave links. It’s a cost-effective and reliable solution for connecting your premises to our data center.

This greatly simplifies outsourcing part or all of your IT infrastructure, or setting up a backup data center at our Greenhouse NLDW2 location. The point-to-point/point-to-multipoint microwave links provide organizations in the Westland and wider region with easy access to Worldstream’s highly secure, compliant and globally connected data center environment.

Satellite broadcasting

Through Worldstream’s vast satellite and 10 Tbit/s global backbone footprints, we’re uniquely positioned to offer reliable, uninterrupted satellite broadcasting of streaming hosting and video hosting. Delivered in close cooperation with our partner MediaChoice, these services to stream TV, radio and videos can be provided from our Greenhouse NLDW2 flagship data center in the Netherlands.

There’s no need to build infrastructure for the reception of media signals. When deploying servers in our data center, these satellite services are also available to you. The satellite dishes are coupled with our high-bandwidth capacity terrestrial global backbone, which is currently at a utilization level of only 45%. This means you can scale up your fiber-based transmission capacity when needed.

Satellite feeds

The satellite dishes at Greenhouse NLDW2, Worldstream’s flagship data center in Naaldwijk, the Netherlands, provide the capacity for connecting satellite feeds to your cabinet. From the satellite dish, the signal goes directly along our fiber track to your equipment in the rack, thus avoiding any interference with the signal.

Worldstream has a wide variety of satellite feed options. If your preferred satellite feed is not listed below, please let us know. We’re a flexible company and continuously add new feeds if there is sufficient demand. At this moment, we’re able to offer feeds for the following satellites:
