1.Can I upgrade my server?Our servers are fully customizable. The easiest way to upgrade is to e-mail our support team who are available 24/7, at support@worldstream.com. Alternatively, you can contact us here.
Can I pay with Bitcoin, PayPal or Transfer?Yes, these options are among the 25 international payment methods that we offer. You can find all payment methods here.
Can I pay by credit card?Sure you can. For safety reasons, however, we will require additional information. Please contact support here to activate credit card payments for your account.
Where is my password? How can I log in?You can find the login details at My Worldstream under server details.
Can I test your global 10 Tbit/s network?Yes, you can find a test file on our network page.
I can't find the operating system I want to install.You will find your operating system of choice when configuring your server. If the desired operating system isn't provided, you can email us at support@worldstream.com after completing your order and we will contact you.
What is a set-up fee?A set-up fee is a one-off additional charge covering the set-up and installation of a dedicated server.
How do I reinstall my server?You can start a server reinstallation at My Worldstream at the installation center. More info at our knowledge base.
2.Can I get a BGP Session?Yes, we set up two p2p connections where you can receive a full BGP table or only receive a default gateway.
What do Worldstream colocation racks contain?Our standard offering is two single mode fiber connector LC/UPCs in a colocation rack. If you need another connector, please let us know.
Do you also supply the optics?Yes, we take care of the optics on our side. Our customers need to supply their own optics for the connection on their side. However, we can deliver these as well if necessary, at an additional fee.
Does Worldstream also supply PDUs?We supply one PDU per feed as standard, with 6 connections. We can supply and install an additional PDU at an additional fee.
I have one or more subnets – can you advertise these?Yes, you need to create a route object for your subnet using AS49981.
3.Can I gain access to DDoS attack details?Yes, you can get a DDoS attack mitigation report that contains all the details about an attack that has occurred.
What is my standard DDoS protection?We offer standard protection up to 40 Gbit/s.
4.What is the maximum MTU size offered by Worldstream?Our maximum MTU size enables a payload of 9.000 bytes.
How many mac addresses do you accept on the uplink?We accept 1.000 mac addresses. If you use more than that, please let us know by sending an e-mail to our support team at support@worldstream.com.
How many ports can I connect in a LAGG?Currently you can use up to 8 ports. If you need more, please contact our support team by e-mail at support@worldstream.com.
What is the minimum uplink speed I can get?For the purpose of maximum redundancy and performance, we deliver 2 uplinks with 10 Gbit/s uplink ports as standard. These are configured in a LAGG (Port-channel/Nicbonding with LACP/IEEE 802.3ad).
How many availability zones does Worldstream provide?Worldstream offers an expanding number of availability zones across its 10 Tbit/s global backbone footprint. The zones being offered will grow along with regional and global customer demand. Currently, you can make use of two availability zones located in the Netherlands, at our owned and operated flagship data center in Naaldwijk, and at the Iron Mountain data center in Amsterdam.
How can I create a local network?Everything sent with a VLAN tag will be available throughout the customer’s environment. Everything that does not contain a VLAN tag will be sent to the Internet.
5.How do I register for the Worldstream Reseller Partner Program?You can register for the reseller program by filling in an application form here. Our sales department will take care of the rest and will respond as soon as possible. We have an average response time of 30 minutes, so you won’t have long to wait!
What are the requirements for my business to become a valued partner in your program?To become a partner in our reseller program, you are required to have a verifiable website, company email for both administrative and technical contact, and a legal address and phone number. You must also demonstrate that you're able to immediately resolve all abuse reports from your clients and provide them with billing and accounting support.

6.Can I install my own satellite dish at the Worldstream premises in Naaldwijk, the Netherlands?No, we'll give you a dedicated signal from our own broadcasting satellite dish farm located at our state-of-the-art data center campus in Naaldwijk, the Netherlands.
I need a satellite signal that you don’t seem to have available among your satellite feed offerings.We have an expanding number of satellite feeds available. If you need a signal that we don’t offer yet, please let us know. We do add new satellite feeds based on customer demand.
Where does Worldstream transmit the satellite signal to?We distribute your satellite signal via fiber in your rack directly to a GTU that delivers 4 coax outputs: VH, VL, HH and HZ. It is also possible to place a multi-switch. Contact our sales team about the options at sales@worldstream.com.
Do you also supply decoders?No, as an IaaS hosting provider that operates globally, we confine ourselves to delivering the satellite signal.
