Flexible VPS has a new tier: Entry Performance, built on the newest generation AMD EPYC 9005 processors and Enterprise NVMe storage. From today, you choose between the best price or the most compute power, at the same fixed monthly price Flexible VPS is known for.
Why a second tier
Entry Standard runs on AMD EPYC 7002 processors with Enterprise SSD, and remains the best choice for everyday workloads: websites, smaller applications, test and development environments. For heavier workloads, such as I/O-intensive databases, builds, or applications that benefit from higher clock speeds, Flexible VPS didn’t have a separate option until now. Entry Performance fills that gap.
Entry Standard versus Entry Performance
Entry Standard AMD EPYC 7002, Enterprise SSD. From €5.19 per month, excl. VAT, for 1 vCPU, 2GB RAM and 40GB SSD. The best price for everyday workloads.
Entry Performance AMD EPYC 9005, Enterprise NVMe. From €10.31 per month, excl. VAT, for 1 vCPU, 2GB RAM and 40GB NVMe. For the heaviest workloads: newest generation processors with high clock speeds and NVMe speed.
Both tiers come in five sizes, from x-Small to x-Large. You adjust vCPU, RAM and storage independently in the portal.

None of this is a paid extra. That applies to Entry Standard, and equally to Entry Performance.
Which one to choose
Not sure? Start with Entry Standard. If I/O or CPU turns out to be the bottleneck, you switch to Entry Performance in the portal within a minute, no migration to another provider needed.
Not every workload needs the same amount of compute power, but we didn’t want customers to have to move to another provider to get it. Entry Performance gives them a fixed price with the newest hardware, without changing how they work with us.
