Worldstream PCI-DSS compliant again

News

Worldstream has successfully completed its annual audit for the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). The independent auditor confirms that Worldstream once again meets the requirements of PCI-DSS version 4.0.1. This confirms that both Worldstream’s technical security and the underlying processes are effectively designed and operating as intended.
Strict requirements for the payment card chain
PCI-DSS is one of the strictest security standards worldwide for organizations that work with credit card data. For organizations in sectors such as e-commerce and financial services, PCI-DSS compliance is not a nice-to-have. It is a requirement for delivering services. By hosting with Worldstream, customers meet requirements for network segmentation, access management, system hardening, and physical data center security, without having to prove those controls themselves to their own auditor.
“PCI-DSS is not a checklist you tick off once,” says Alan Lucas, CISO at Worldstream. “It forces you to make security a real part of your daily processes. This recertification shows that compliance is not an annual exercise. It is about continuously meeting security and compliance requirements. For customers, that means additional assurance about the reliability and security of our services. Not only regarding the technology, but also regarding how we operate as an organization.”
